Our client, Deutsche Bank, is a global banking business with strong roots in Germany and operations in over 70 countries. Their large but focused footprint gives them an established position in Europe plus a significant presence in the Americas and Asia Pacific. Deutsche Bank offer their clients commercial and investment banking, retail banking and transaction banking as well as ground-breaking asset and wealth management products and services.

On behalf of Deutsche Bank, AMS are now looking for a **Payroll Reporting Specialist** to work in their **Regional HR Operations team** based in **Birmingham** on a PAYE basis.

**Overview**:
The Payroll Team in the UK is part of the Regional HR Operations team and is responsible for the accurate and timely payment of Deutsche Bank’s permanent employees based in the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands and Sweden.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Responsible for understanding and preparing all the regulatory and statutory reporting (PSA, EP Appendix, Benefits in Kind Reporting, GPG, Director Remuneration, & ONS Survey etc.)
- Supporting Payroll continuous improvement lead and Head of payroll on reviews and reconciliations of statutory and regulatory reporting
- Support payroll team on modified PAYE reporting and reconciliation
- Support payroll team on complex reconciliations on time to time
- Ensure the payroll accounts accurately reflect the payroll payable position and items are cleared within their expected lifecycle

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- At least 3 to 5 years experiences in payroll reconciliations with a high-volume UK payroll exposure
- Mandatory : Strong excel skills - The ability to manipulate data
- Hands on experience in employment tax returns and payroll accounting (preferred)
- SAP Payroll experience (preferred)
- Overall payroll experience from end to end perspective
