**About the role**

Reporting into the Planning Manager, the distribution coordinator’s role is to design routes that a bulk tanker driver or Cylinder driver undertakes to deliver to both B2C and B2B customers, ensuring, that they are customer service driven, cost effective & realistic. The role involves liaising with Depot Managers regarding resource availability and the Fulfillment Team regarding real time driver management. The role will also involve interfacing with the forecasting team and ensuring that plans are taking account of future demand and are leveled effectively to maximize the vehicles and drivers available.

**What you will be doing**
- Creation of forward planned schedules based on understanding of customer demand
- Work closely with forecasting/capacity planning team to build future plans for growth and impacts of seasonality
- Engage with Outbound Logistics Manager to ensure plans are in line with business strategy
- Interface with Fulfilment Coordinator’s to ensure that transport planners are managing drivers effectively
- Ensure that business rules within the system allow for optimal route creation

Flogas Britain is one of the largest distributors of off-grid energy in the UK and has over 35 years’ experience of providing solutions to both commercial and domestic customers, principally in the form of liquid gas. The business has a longstanding record of organic growth driven by new installations, underpinned by a strong technical engineering expertise and capability, which combined with a number of bolt-on acquisitions have resulted in its market share increasing from 10% to over 30%.
