As a Transport Planner at Bakers Environmental Solutions, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our fleet operations. Your responsibilities will include:

- **Daily Workload Management**: Planning and managing the daily workload of drivers and vehicles to ensure efficient operations.
- **Customer Solutions**: Collaborating with the customer service team to resolve queries and provide exceptional customer support.
- **Team Collaboration**: Working closely with the driver team to identify and implement long-term solutions to operational challenges.
- **Service Delivery Improvement**: Striving to meet and exceed service delivery KPIs through continuous improvement initiatives.
- **Order Management**: Handling customer orders with precision, ensuring timely delivery, and clear communication with drivers.
- **Load Management**: Efficiently managing additional loads or orders as they arise.
- **Customer Engagement**: Communicating professionally and courteously with both internal and external customers to maintain a positive image.
- **Operational Coordination**: Liaising with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the transport department.
- **Documentation**: Promptly and accurately completing all inbound and outbound paperwork.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Supporting and developing processes to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.
- **Health and Safety**: Maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with the company's Health & Safety Policy.

**Qualifications and Experience**

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

- Experience in a similar industry (logistics, distribution) or prior experience managing drivers and a busy fleet.
- Certification in planning software is an added advantage.
