HR Generalist

** REED HR are delighted to be working with our client, based in Newry, on an exclusive basis for the recruitment of an HR Generalist, 2 year Fixed Term Contract.**

As the HR Generalist for this organisation, you will have the chance to take ownership of the HR function, by developing and providing a seamless and effective HR service to management and employees, and drives cultural change and improvement within theorganisation.This role is on a two-year fixed term contract basis.

**What will you be doing?**

As HR Generalist, you will be working closely with the Senior Management Team to oversee the provision of all core HR services to my client, including:

- Recruitment & Selection - Overseeing the recruitment and selection of staff and improving turnover management and staff retention
- Employee Relations - Providing an excellent HR Advisory service to management and employees for all ER activity, including absence and performance management, disciplinaries and grievances
- Learning and Development - Developing and overseeing training plans for new and existing employees, and ensuring annual reviews are completed in a timely and effective manner
- HR Reporting & Policy Development and Implementation - working closely with the CEO and SMT to continually develop the HR strategy for the organisation and assist managers with implementing HR policies and procedures
- Providing monthly HR updates and KPI reports to the CEO/Senior Management Team and Board
Who are we looking for?

**As a HR Generalist, you will have**:

- CIPD Level 5 Qualification OR a HR Management Degree
- At least three years' experience of working at a senior HR level, managing and overseeing the above job responsibilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR IT systems use
- Sound knowledge of Human Resources and employment law, and the ability to maintain continuous professional development on same
