Bookkeeper/accounts Assistant

Based in Edinburgh, we are a small manufacturing company and specialist supplier to the Brewing and Distilling Industry. We are currently recruiting for a part-time Bookkeeper working around 15 hours per week. General responsibilities and duties are:
- Sales Ledger: Checking sales invoices, credit control, chasing customer payments
- Purchase Ledger: Processing of purchase invoices and supplier payments
- Regular bank reconciliations and month-end procedures
- Maintenance of customer, supplier and product records in Sage 50
- Cover other duties as time and experience allows
Applicants should be organised and have good numeracy skills and attention to detail, and the flexibility to work as part of a small team. Experience with Sage 50 Accounts is essential, and experience of the products and purchase order modules would be an advantage.
Hours would be flexible, though generally between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday, and there may be some opportunity to work from home. Salary £11.00 - £13.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
