**Job Title: PALS Advisor - 37.5 hrs per week**

Salford Royal is based at Stott Lane, and it is easily accessible via both car and public transport. There is onsite parking (fees will apply). It has four on site cafes and two restaurants where staff are eligible for a discount. The hospital also has on site shops.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- The role will include inputting new PALS cases on to Datix
- To answer the PALS telephone line and take concerns over the phone. If the query is not complex, then they will have to contact the service management team to resolve the concern.
- The placement will need to access patient information and contact various members of staff within the organisation.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:

- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Experience within a similar role
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
