**This job is for you**

This position requires you to have a keen interest in horticulture, working outdoors and high standards of work. You must have previous experience within the commercial Grounds Maintenance industry and associated tools and equipment (more than 1 year). You must show an excellent awareness of Health & Safety and implementing procedures.

**Certificates and Licenses (_desirable but not all essential_)**:

- Full clean driving license (required)
- PA1, PA6 hand-held spraying license
- Ride on mowing experience
- Chainsaw certificates

**Your duties will include**:

- Pedestrian mowing
- Ride on mowing
- Weed control
- Hedge cutting
- Pruning
- Litter picking
- Winter gritting
- Landscape gardening
- General grounds maintenance

You will be working outdoors in all weathers throughout the year and must be willing to work longer hours during peak periods. Your hours will be variable and include shift work for gritting during winter.

Overall, you must be a reliable team player and be willing to strive for only the highest of standards.
