NFU Mutual's Stafford agency is one of the leading NFU Mutual Insurance branches in the country and we are currently recruiting for a part time Business Telemarketer.

As a Business Telemarketer within our growing team, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business, ensuring we are never short of new business opportunities. You will primarily generate outbound sales opportunities and appointments for the business partners whilst also generating further sales opportunities for our internal sales team and utilising opportunities with existing clients.

This role is an exciting opportunity for anybody who is looking to join a well-respected branch of NFU Mutual with the opportunity for future development within our business.

**Duties include**:

- Identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities and activities to new and existing customers
- Initiate proactive sales activity to create new business opportunities for the branch.
- Deliver sales & marketing initiatives, including any central campaigns, across all business areas to build a pipeline for opportunities.
- Raising the profile of the Agency and build networks with key Directors and stakeholders to create opportunities in accordance with NFU Mutual standards.
- Cold calling and identifying prospective customers to generate appointments for business partners/sales team.
- Co-ordinate, organise and attend local events to engage both existing and prospective customers when required.
- Obtain appointments for Financial Advisers to meet individual and branch targets
- Working within Compliance Framework required by the Company / Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
- Use of Microsoft Word, Excel & CRM systems as a minimum
- Develop and sustain effective working relationships with customers, all members of agency and NFU Mutual staff

**This position will be based in our Stafford office.**

**Package**: £18,000 to £21,000 OTE depending on experience.

**Working pattern**: Part time role and the working days will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30am to 5pm.

19 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 21 days after 2 years service at the turn of the next calendar year (FTE).

Free on site parking.

**Normal office opening hours**:
Monday - Friday 8.30am till 5pm

**Qualifications required**:
Maths and English GCSE or equivalent at Grade C/4 or above

**Please note that you'll be employed by an Agent of NFU Mutual and not by NFU Mutual directly.**
