Do you just need someone to give you the opportunity to prove your amazing skills and contribute to a business by making them shine with your editing magic.

We want to talk to you

We know that times are tough right now. We also know there are a lot of changes and uncertainties out there. Rubixx is a successful startup and has consistently grown both before and during the pandemic and we’re deciding wether to outsource this work or bring it in house. Our preference is to recruit locally as this will be office based.

The role will be taking raw content and making it professional, usable and polished. Our content varies between marketing content, video demonstrations and software instructional bite size e-learning.

What are we like as an employer? Well, we’re probably a bit like you, a bit different from the norm. That’s a good thing in our eyes, who wants to be the same as everyone else, how very dull that would be

So what skills would you need to fit into the role? Well we currently use Adobe Creative Cloud, but we're not super wedded to it so open to ideas. You'd need to be creative, us software types can come up with ideas but this person will need to think creatively to give that idea legs.

What would you do Day to Day? Well, each day differs in an organisation our size. Mainly ensuring our e-learning content is updtodate as our software grows, work with the sales team to develop and produce marketing ideas and content and refine graphics, videos and images as we need them.

This will initially be a part time post but we don't know how it will grow over time. We'll never force you to take more hours but they could be available as we grow. The salary also has capacity to grow as the role develops, with 94% of our roles getting one or more pay rises in their first 12 months, we continually work with our team to ensure they grow in skills and value and we reward accordingly.

What will you get from us? Well, we have a modern fun workplace, a fantastic customer base who love our products and a tight-knit team who look after each other and all grow together. We’re all different with different strengths and areas for growth. There are no egos, politics or judgements.

We have flexitime, parking, a relaxed atmosphere, an involved and engaged management team, a modern comfortable workplace with as much tea coffee and hot chocolate as you can drink, onsite café for when you need a sugar rush and subsidised gym membership where you work off the sugar and an onsite pub to kick back after work and play free pool. We have an active league for our in-house table football (foosball) and a trophy for the winner We have regular team building events including go karting, escape rooms, meals and general fun. More importantly, we’ll invest time and resource into developing you. We’ll work with you to understand where you want your career to move and help you develop where we can.

How will you show us you can fit into our squad of broken robots? We don’t mind. Most people send a CV but that’s kinda dull, we'd love to see a portfolio of work you've done, even if it's not about boring software Think of how you can stand out from the crowd. Think about how we’re going to see the real you, because honestly, we don’t care what GCSE grade you got at school, we care about finding the right person to work with us long term. Think selfie video, think shadow puppets, think stop motion, think smoke signalsjust think different. The way you choose to present yourself tells us as much as what you tell us.
