**Who you’ll work with**

As a member of the Central Risk team, you will sit at the heart of the UK&I Trading Department and be responsible for more than 50 different sports that Sky Bet currently offer to customers.

The team is responsible for three main areas:

- Price Management - Ensuring that all markets are kept up to date and in line within a fast moving industry.
- Customer Management - Client profiling is another core aspect of the role, as the focus on customer is central to everything that Sky Betting and Gaming does.
- Liability Management - Overseeing and managing the liabilities that each event has accumulated to best protect the business.

**Your role in ‘better’**

As part of the Central Risk Leadership team, you will be involved in driving improvements both operationally and strategically that will benefit the whole Trading function. You will ensure that the team and the service they deliver are best in class across the industry whilst consistently challenging the norm.

The role requires strong attention to detail and good communication with Central Risk working with and influencing many teams around the UK&I. Other aspects include:

- _Managing a range of talented full-time and part-time traders. _
- _Focus on trader development, working closely with Central Risk leadership to ensure effective short & long-term development strategies are in place. _
- _Maintaining high efficiency standards on our risk tools. _
- _Using data to drive decision making to improve processes within the team, aligning these with our KPIs. _
- _Department staffing ensuring the desk is running optimally. _
- _Monitoring sportsbook liabilities and making risk adverse decisions at both a customer and business wide level. _
- _Ensure key events are successfully planned and executed from a risk perspective. _
- _Working closely with the Quants & Analytics teams on wider risk projects, presenting back any findings to key stakeholders. _
- _Ownership of live incidents, communicating effectively with other teams in a calm and logical manner. _
- _Developing relationships with a range of departments within and outside Trading to drive positive change. _
