**Who you’ll work with**

The Racing Trading team are responsible for the trading of over 10,000 races each year, including domestic, international and Greyhound Racing. Creating new innovative markets, exciting new offers, and game changing product features are all within the scope of everyone in the racing team, with the ultimate aim of ensuring the Racing proposition at SBG leads the way within the industry.

**Your role in ‘better’**

As an Associate Trader within the Racing Team your role will assume responsibility across Product, Customer Management and Live Price Trading. The role will be varied day-to-day and key responsibilities will be:

- Maximise Horse Racing margin through effective management of prices across UK, International and Greyhound Racing
- Work closely with the trading team to offer an industry leading product, including Price Boosts, Specials and RequestABet markets. You will be responsible for creating, pricing and managing these markets that create an industry leading product for our customers.
- Work closely with the Trading Operations team to communicate any issues regarding settlement, and to improve the customer journey
- Focus on the customer. Understanding our customers and look to constantly improve the experiences they have with SBG is crucial, and forms a central part of everything we do as a trading team

**How you’ll create ‘better’**
- An understanding of Horse Racing and sports betting markets is desired.
- Good standard of computer literacy and strong numerical skills
- The ability to operate effectively within a team, strong time management skills and close attention to detail.
- The ability to think critically and constantly challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement.
