An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Integration Developer to join and support a public sector organisation amidst a large-scale transformation.
- Providing advice and guidance on all interfacing and integration issues
- Specifying, programming, testing and implementing the solution and review with users/third parties making any necessary amendments
- Liaising with stakeholders
- Following the IM&T Change Management process when implementing new interfaces and technical changes and bug fixes to existing interfaces
- Documentation of new developments and fixes within the IM&T knowledgebase
- Proven track record assisting in developing large complex IT environments
- Ability to undertake solution options appraisals and produce recommendations
- Prior working knowledge of: Interface Development, Web Service Development, Databases (SQL Server, Oracle or Object databases), Solution Analysis and Design, Software Testing
- Demonstrable success of achievement of managing the technical aspects of projects tasks
- Detailed knowledge of relational databases and database design
- Good understanding of Project Management principles
- Understanding of HL7 messaging is desirable
- (Knowledge of interface engines an advantage but not necessary)
