**Background**

Neon Healthcare (“company”) is a fast-growing and ambitious pharmaceutical company that develops, produces, markets, and sells prescription only medicines to hospitals, wholesalers, and retail pharmacies. Founded by entrepreneurs with a successful track in building pharmaceutical businesses, the company has significant operations in the UK and is looking to expand its activities into other markets.

Neon is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, experienced, and enthusiastic individual to make a significant contribution to the continued growth and success of the company.

This role is based at our Hertford Office and reports to the Head of Supply Chain.

**Description of Main Duties and Responsibilities**

**Inbound Planning and Execution**:

- Coordinate inbound logistics, including transportation, customs clearance, and third-party storage.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure that product documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Manage and reconcile invoices and paperwork with the Accounts team.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock quantities to prevent overstocking or out of stocks.
- Ensure compliance with strict quality standards during the receipt and handling of incoming materials by adhering to strict quality processes.
- Work with Neon’s suppliers to plan and coordinate the timely delivery of goods.
- Manage the serialisation process to comply with relevant industry regulations. This includes managing daily checks, alerts, uploading files and testing via a bespoke portal.

**Monthly Supply Chain Planning**:

- Participate in cross functional monthly supply chain planning meetings to assess demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory requirements.
- Support the Supply Chain Manager to manage supply plans whilst considering capacity constraints, lead times, market dynamics and other variables.
- Create Purchase Orders for products using internal accounting software.

**Inventory management**:

- Complete quarterly reconciliation of Neon’s Controlled Drugs portfolio.
- Manage the destruction process to ensure that stock levels are kept to a minimum
- Manage the short dated process for products through collaboration with Neon’s Commercial, Quality, and Regulatory teams.
- Support new product introductions with product set up requirements in time to meet our launch commitments.

**Export Planning and Execution**:

- Collaborate with logístical partners to plan and coordinate the timely and compliant collection of goods. This includes:

- Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
- Coordinate outbound logistics including transportation and customs clearance.
- Completing export documents and declarations

**Quality Compliance**:

- Adhere to Neon's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for supply chain processes.
- Ensure all supply chain activities comply with regulatory requirements.
- By following SOPs, monitor product quality throughout the supply chain, from procurement to distribution.
- Maintain quality and compliance for all products by working closely with the Quality team for all import and export activities.
- Raising Change Controls, Deviations and CAPAs as necessary to ensure continuous improvement in all supply chain processes.

**Customer service**:

- Managing customer enquiries regarding stock status and maintain a product availability tracker.

**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**
- Ambitious self-starter with excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict processes.
- Strong administrative experience, preferably using MS office, able to quickly learn new IT systems and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think ahead and across a process, anticipating issues and opportunities, working cross functionally where required.
- Strong planning, coordinating and reconciliation skills.
- Highly organised with an ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in supply chain management and / or the pharmaceutical industry is helpful but not a requirement.

**Salary and Benefits**
- 25 Days Annual Leave + an extra day annual leave per year to a maximum of 30 (excluding bank holidays)
- 40 hours per week inc of a daily 30-minute break (core hours 10am-4pm)
