Fm Assistant Supervisor

You will be responsible for the day to day co-supervision of the FM services in an agreed location(s) and will be the customers’ point of contact for any FM related issues. You will deputise in the absence of the FM Supervisor. The FM services comprise of the cleaning, window cleaning, and the catering, portering and goods receiving services, linen and laundry management as well as grounds and gardens maintenance (where applicable). You will be responsible for supporting the management of all the FM Assistants providing the FM services. This will include:
Ensuring that all areas of the site are maintained at an excellent level of cleanliness;
Ensuring the goods delivered to site are received, checked and distributed appropriately;
Ensuring that food service in both the dining room (where available) and to the wards is delivered appropriately and in a timely fashion;
Arranging rosters to ensure that there is sufficient cover available and resources are used efficiently;
Ensuring compliance with legislation relating to both Food Safety and Health and Safety;
Ensuring a high standard of customer service;
To assist the FM Supervisor in organising the staff rosters, ensuring staff are used efficiently and communicating shifts to the staff in a timely fashion. This will include:
requesting bank and agency staff as and when required by shortfalls in the usual staffing complement using the EMPH system;
authorising annual leave requests;
signing agency staff timesheets prior to forwarding to the Facilities Officer in order that payment for shifts worked can be authorised.

To ensure that any staff who are new to the area are taken through the induction programme in order that they can work safely and effectively.
