**Job Description**:
**Your team**

Language Services is Avaloq’s in-house localization, translation and language review provider and is responsible for terminology management at Avaloq. We are seeking an English-language translator, reviewer/editor and terminologist who will review and translate a wide range of text types and manage the corporate glossary of the Avaloq group. You will be heavily involved in software localization projects, both as a reviewer of the source text and as a localization project manager. In this position, you will also be the main point of contact between our internal clients and our external language services providers.

**Your mission**
- Review texts in terms of grammar and spelling, language and style, consistency and coherence, and corporate terminology
- Occasionally translate documents, ensuring accurate, consistent and coherent target texts that are delivered on time
- Work as part of a product team to localize software user interfaces
- Maintain and update the corporate glossary and support the team with terminology coordination
- Manage translation/review requests, including outsourcing to external language services providers

**Qualifications**:
**What you need**
- Degree in Translation (or equivalent qualification)
- Excellent knowledge of English (native language)
- Good knowledge of German - an additional language is a plus (French, Italian, Japanese, Chinese)
- Knowledge of CAT and terminology management tools (memoQ/qTerm, SDL Trados)
- Organized, methodical and reliable person with a fantastic attention to detail
- Healthy curiosity in language technology, esp. CAT, localization and authoring tools

**You will get extra points for the following**
- Banking and/or IT knowledge
- Experience with localization software (Phrase) and authoring tool (Acrolinx)
- Familiarity with machine translation and post-editing
- Knowledge of copy writing
