Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust wishes to appoint one substantive Consultant Anaesthetist and one Fixed Term Consultant Anaesthetist for 3 years (Full time/10 PA).

The Aintree site is ACSA accredited and provides general acute health care to 330,000 residents in North Merseyside and surrounding areas. The Aintree site is also the single Major Trauma receiving site for Cheshire and Merseyside.

The person appointed will be based at Aintree but may be job planned to provide sessions at the Royal Liverpool or Broadgreen sites. On-call activity will be based at the Aintree site.

Applicants are required to hold Membership or Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists or equivalent qualifications, to be fully registered with the General Medical Council with licence to practise and listed on the Specialist Register or due to be registered within six months of the date of appointment.
