**Engineering Buyer, Ardley / Hybrid, £30,000 - £33,000pa plus bonus & benefits**:

With two decades of experience in combining the best of high precision GNSS receivers, our clients are market leaders in their field and their products have becomethe industry standard for automotive testing and are widely used in many other industries. Due to growth, they seek to recruit an Engineering Buyer to join their Purchasing Team.

The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and buying goods, materials, and services to meet operational requirements, taking into consideration, price, quality, delivery and continuity of supply. You will be a key Purchasing resource ensuringthat the company has the required parts and components to meet production schedules.

This Engineering Buyer role would perfectly suit someone who has 2-3 years’ experience within a Buyer, Purchasing, or Procurement role and is looking for more responsibility.

**About you**:
The successful Engineering Buyer will ideally possess Buying, Purchasing or Procurement experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably souring electronic components or parts. You will understand how bill of materials and subassemblies work tobuild electronics-based products. Great communication skills are essential for this role as you will be dealing with suppliers daily. Excellent negotiation skills are also a prerequisite as you look to gain the best possible price for the business.

Our client is offering an excellent salary of £30,000 - £33,000 depending on experience. In addition, the role is eligible for a discretionary profit share bonus which will be at the absolute discretion of the company. Holiday entitlement is 27 days plusbank holidays. The holiday year runs from 1st July to 30th June.

Commutable from Banbury, Bicester, Buckingham, Oxford, Kidlington, Chipping Norton, Brackley and Witney.
