Office Services Assistant

Our client based in Basingstoke is seeking an experienced office services assistant.

The role is a 6 month FTC

The hours are flexible for either full time or part time.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engagement with local team to help deliver outstanding working environments
- Day to day management of office operations to help ensure they run smoothly
- Contribute to our plans for new office spaces to help deliver a fun and flexible workspace
- Local contract management, overseeing invoices and supplies
- Follow procedures to help ensure compliance for health and safety, security and environmental sustainability
- You will be based in Basingstoke or Manchester but will be part of a global People & Culture team, reporting to the Office Services Manager, who is based in London.

In this role, you will be expected to:

- Provide support services within a defined budget.
- Communicate effectively on behalf of the company to employees.
- Carry out invoice reviews related to office suppliers and service providers.
- Align on People & Culture and Office Services processes with HR & Office Services colleagues.
- Develop office improvements, and follow procedures to ensure our spaces are safe & secure
- Act as the main contact point for local team and external service providers

What is needed to succeed in this role:

- Experience in office administration
- Fluent English language skills.
- Strong PC and MS Office skills. We use Workday for HR and Finance, as well as Office365, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Jira and Teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
- Effective communication skills both oral and written.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Creative attitude and a passion to deliver excellence.
