The Avon Pension Fund is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join its expanding Employer Services teams.

**About the Avon Pension Fund**

**Employer Services**

Working on the Data Control Team you will be responsible for ensuring the data held for all employers and scheme members is accurate. You will help identify errors and gaps in the data and work with employers to correct the information held. You will be required to manage your own workload, working as part of our busy pensions team. The main tasks include:

- Verifying data at year end so members receive accurate pension statements
- Identifying gaps in data and arranging to obtain this data
- Contacting employers to ensure they meet their Pension Regulator common data requirements
- Assisting team members and other departments with data queries.

From time to time there may be a requirement to work on projects, away from day-to-day work. Examples of projects are where required to meet a regulatory requirement, such as McCloud, or where an internal review identifies gaps in data and this needs to be rectified.

**About You**

**Ideally, you will have experience in pension or financial administration, as well as an understanding of the Local Government Pension Scheme. Knowledge and experience of data control and reconciliation is essential, along with the ability speak to confidently to employers and work with other teams to ensure our data is correct.**

Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible via car or public transport, with a train station 5 minutes’ walk away.
