**Night Support Worker (Children’s Homes)**

**Salary: £21,453 - £22,347 per annum (+ benefits + overtime + weekend enhancements)**

**Type: Permanent**

**Location: Cheadle Hulme, SK8 6RQ**

Seashell is a charity dedicated to providing a creative, happy and secure environment for children and young people with complex needs and additional communication challenges from across the UK.

We have 17 home-from-home, four bedroomed houses for children and young people who need residential support. We can provide 24-hour care, weekly and termly boarding, and 52-week placement for individuals aged 3-25 years.

This opportunity is to support our children who are up to 18 years old throughout the night. All our homes are based on our one site and so no travel is required.

**Role Summary**
- **Full time **(37.5 hours per week) or **part time** (3 nights) or **full time** can be considered
- Shift times are **9:45pm until 7:45am**, flexibility over the 7 days of the week is required
- Support evening and morning routines and any care or support required through the night e.g. medication administration, personal care
- Following of individual care plans while maintaining all recording and reporting
- General house keeping

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Commitment to complete a recognised level 4 qualification in Working with Children, Young People and Families Practitioner along with additional training and personal development/progression opportunities
- GCSE English and Maths (grade A-C) or level 2 literacy and numeracy qualification is a requirement for these positions.
