Nisbets has a new exciting opportunity for a Facilities Cleaning Supervisor to provide Supervision to the Facilities cleaning team ensuring the delivery of high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the Avonmouth and Chepstow estate.

A high level of cleanliness and hygiene across all sites and maintaining the effective running of a 11 strong team of full and part timers covering both sites. While delivering cleaning services across all sites, responding to reactive requests and providing cover during periods of absence and periods of increased output, to ensure standards are maintained throughout. Ensure staff receive the appropriate training commensurate with the tasks. Making sure the whole team comply with all business H&S policies around cleaning and ensure the correct processes are followed in the handling of COSHH and the wearing of PPE, were required.

**What will I be doing?**
- Supervise the cleaning team ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene across all sites and maintaining the effective running of the team.
- Delivering cleaning services across all sites, responding to reactive requests and providing cover during periods of absence and periods of increased output, to ensure standards are maintained throughout.
- Ensure staff receive the appropriate training commensurate with the tasks.
- Ensure the team comply with all business H&S policies around cleaning and ensure the correct processes are followed in the handling of COSHH and the wearing of PPE, were required.
- Report any issues or training needs to your Line Manager.
- Ensure the team use the appropriate equipment, materials, tools and machinery to ensure the job is done effectively and safely.
- Coordinate all cleaning services across all sites, and respond to Line Managers, Supervisors and Colleague requests as appropriate to ensure best practice.
- Supervise all Specialist cleaning where requested i.e. carpet shampooing.
- Monitor and measure team performance and quality through regular audit inspections and provide monthly KPI reports.
- Maintain adequate stock of materials and consumables, and arrange replenishments as necessary.
- Report any damages/defects of equipment, furniture and fittings whilst carryout duties to the appropriate person.
- Ensure appropriate cover is in place during during periods of absence.
- Be proactive in your approach and install the same behaviours within the team.
- Any other tasks, as directed by your Line Manager, commensurate with the role.
