**More about the role**:
We are recruiting to a Housing Inclusion Officer (Grade 8) post within Housing Inclusion for the Young Persons Team. The team is an integral part of the wider Housing Services and lies within the Social Care, Health and Housing Directorate. We are a substantial yet cohesive team, and together are responsible for delivering excellent accommodation-based support to the Housing Inclusion, supported accommodation schemes within the Council’s stock and are instrumental in the prevention of homelessness.

We are an aspirational and forward-thinking team, responsible for delivering quality housing support. The role is to provide guidance and support customers across the range of supported accommodation schemes, including Chalkhill Gateway, Ashwell Gateway, Puddlehill Gateway, resettling families and UASC satellite properties. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual. You should be able to communicate, advocate and negotiate effectively to produce results that enable our customers to live well independently.

You will also be required to take part in the Out of Hours on call rota for Independent Living.
