We are looking to recruit a Receptionist/Optical Assistant to work **part time** as well as additional holiday/sickness cover for our very busy practice in Chesterfield. The hours will increase from the 1st August to cover Maternity Leave for 12 months, the increase will total 26.5 hours per week. Flexibilty is of upmost importance. We are a long established and family owned Opticians with a small happy team.

**Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant**

The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.

**Requirements of the Optical Assistant**

Experience is essential and the ability to dispense to all levels with a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic. A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

**Job Type: Part-time**

**Tuesday 9-5pm**

**Wednesday - 9 - 1pm**

**Saturday - 9 - 1pm**

**Location - Chesterfield S40**
