**SITE SPECIFIC INFORMATION**:
- Title: Relief Security Officer
- Industry - Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and Business Park
- Pay Rate - £11.00 Per Hour for sites 1 and 2 and £10.42 for site 3
- Rotations - Guaranteed a minimum of 24 hours per week and then Relief Support to cover Days, Nights, and Weekends across 3 sites for 9 staff
- Locations : Site 1: SA1 1AD / Site 2: SA1 5AQ / Site 3: CF71 7PF
- Numbers Required - 1
**Essential for the role**:
- SIA Licence
- Customer Service Experience
- First Aid Qualification
- Driving License (so you can commute between the 3 sites)
- Own mode of transport
**SCOPE**:
You will receive between 12 and 60 hours per week which include all holidays, sickness, and compassionate issues, when the team of 6 are off. If you are able to travel to Swansea we also have 2 Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sites that we can train you on meaning you can also cover for the 4 members of staff we have there in the same manner.
This role would suit someone who is flexible, able to think on their feet, who is able to constantly prioritise tasks ensuring that the most important issues are dealt with first and foremost. You must be able to commute to the site using your own transport if you cannot do that please do not apply. All site training will take place prior to mobilisation.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Purpose of the role: To provide an efficient and professional security service to Consortio Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of professionalism, customer service and integrity.
**MAIN DUTIES**:
Main Duties include Controlling access and egress to site, booking staff and visitors onto the site, patrolling the site internally and externally, parcel management, immediate first aid management prior to the emergency services attending the site, fire evacuation and testing procedures, coordinating safe movement of staff and visitors whilst they are on site as well as incident management.
**DUTIES**:
- Control access and egress, utilising the equipment and systems provided
- Ensure clients’ staff, property and other assets are secure
- Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally
- Accurately operate designated alarm systems
- Monitor CCTV footage for protection of property and assets
- Complete the daily log, noting all appropriate activity
- Produce accurate reports as and when needed
- Conduct sufficient internal and external patrols to ensure security of all zones utilizing technical capabilities
- Ensure all procedures, site / assignment instructions and protocols are always followed; being particularly diligent when in an emergency
- Maintain tidy and clean work areas
- Dealing with post and parcels and then signing them out to residents
- Ensuring personal boundaries are always adhered to making sure that the line is never crossed
- Be an effective ambassador for Consortio, always smart and diligent with high levels of integrity
