White & Son Shoes is an independent family run shoe store situated in the heart of the bustling Sidmouth town, selling Ladies and Men’s shoes from some of the best known footwear brands in the world.

We are now seeking a Part Time Sales Assistant within our store. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a valued member of a small team working within a busy retail environment.

**What will you be doing?**
- Selling Branded Footwear
- Working as part of a team to achieve shop targets
- Ensuring the highest levels of Customer Service are offered at all times by offering advice and guidance based on your product knowledge
- Processing sales on the till and actioning any customer returns
- Keeping the store clean, tidy and well merchandised
- Dealing with deliveries which will involve unpacking, checking despatch notes and then fixturing the stock

**What we are looking for?**
- Previous experience in customer services, preferably in footwear retail or a similar environment, although training will be given
- You will need to be confident enough to be able to communicate with your customers
- Hard working, friendly and enthusiastic manner as you will be a key member of a small team
- Someone who is able to use their own initiative in order to get work done
- We do require a certain amount of flexibility in order to cover holidays and sickness

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
