Hotel Receptionist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Hotel Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. This position requires excellent phone etiquette, strong hospitality skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
**Duties**:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with necessary information about the hotel and its amenities
- Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy in reservation details and payment processing
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and handle guest inquiries promptly and professionally
- Assist guests with special requests, such as arranging transportation or recommending local attractions
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the lobby and reception area
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and find appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service and handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Proficiency in using hotel management software or reservation systems is a plus
