**Management Accounts Assistant**

**Location: Northampton**

**Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, pro rata (dependent on experience)**

**12 month FTC**

**Hour: Full time, 37.50 hours per week**

**Your role with us**

Reporting to a Finance Business Partner you will be undertaking a full range of activities from budgeting and forecasting, month end processes, reconciling accounts and providing the Charity with high quality management information.

**Your role will be varied and rewarding and includes**:

- Supporting Finance in all elements of financial administration for St Andrew’s Healthcare
- Providing support for the Finance Business Partners, posting journals, investigating variances, creating monthly reports and dashboards
- Production of timely & accurate financial management information
- Prioritisation of workloads and working to deadlines
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and quality information at all times
- Working as part of the finance team, sharing your ideas, thoughts and feedback
- Provide management accounting information, including correct coding and reporting
- Query resolution (predominantly using excel) whilst maintaining routine duties
- Assist in the preparation of monthly & annual budget statements and forecasts

**What we are looking for**:

- A motivated, self-starter, able to work under own initiative
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel (a test will be required to determine level)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- AAT qualified or equivalent
- Previous experience in an accounts department within a large organisation
- Proven track record of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Previous experience of using SAP would be an advantage, but not essential
- Ability to prioritise workloads and respond to tight deadlines
- Discretion and confidentiality
