**Job Title**: HR Advisor / Generalist

**Department**: Human Resources

**Reports to**: HR Manager

**Summary**:
**Core Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the HR Manager, supporting a global HR function
- Responsible for Talent Acquisition activities including managing the ATS
- Advise managers on recruitment and selection, preparing job descriptions and adverts, participating in interviews and producing offers of employment
- Employee onboarding, supporting full employee life-cycle, updating the HRIS
- Build good working relationships with employees and managers by coaching and supporting them in employment matters
- Providing assistance with Employee Relations and Engagement/Wellbeing activities
- Provide generalist HR support, first point of contact for HR queries
- Preparation of HR documentation & procedures including administering benefits
- Preparing employee references, coordinating global background checks
- Comfortably manage ever-changing priorities, communicating effectively at all levels

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of UK employment laws and HR best practices, experience supporting a global HR function ideal but not essential
- Previous experience of recruitment / talent acquisition activities essential
- High level of competency using HR software and systems including an ATS
- Ability to provide hands-on support to an SME (circa 50-150) is required - this is not a shared-service role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels within the organization.
- CIPD qualification is preferred.
- Good time-management skills with a pro active attitude is essential - you will thrive on the fast-pace & changing priorities

**Work timings**:

- Monday to Friday, 9-5.30pm hybrid working
