**The Company**

Operating for over 75 years from within West Yorkshire, Victor Manufacturing Ltd are a long established, family owned and operated, manufacturer of catering equipment & servery counters, supplying a number of prestigious clients both nationally and internationally.

**The Role**

As the Transport Co-ordinator at Victor Manufacturing Limited you will be responsible for:

- The efficient planning of deliveries across the UK by our team of drivers, ensuring full optimisation of resources.
- Proactively monitoring compliance within the transport department including daily vehicle checks, maintenance schedules and drives hours / breaks.
- Communicating effectively and proactively with both the drivers and the customers
- Liaising with other internal departments to ensure orders are manufactured on time in order to meet delivery deadlines and maintain good customer relations.
- Attending daily production meetings prepared and contributing where necessary.
- Ensuring Health and Safety policies and procedures are upheld at all times.
- Assisting with the safe loading of vehicles when required.

Essential / Desired Criteria & Technical Qualifications you will need to succeed in this role:
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK - Essential
- Prior experience of route planning - Essential
- Transport compliance experience - Essential
- Good people skillst, encouraging, inspiring and enabling the team around you - Essential
- Transport Manager CPC (National/international) Qualification - Desired

**Hours of Work**

7:30am to 4:00pm (Monday to Thursday)
7:30am to 3:00pm (Fridays)

Some Saturday mornings will be required on occasions in this role
