Marketing Manager

The correct person will be responsible for overseeing and carrying out all marketing activities for the farm shop, restaurant and events, working closely with the Directors to deliver exciting and effective content to drive the family business forward.
This is a hands-on role. You will be involved in campaigns from start to end, from populating and maintaining product listings, managing and writing content and organising and supporting PR activities.
You should have proven experience in delivering marketing campaigns on time and within budget and the ability to drive a consistent customer experience at every touch point and monitor improvements.
You should also be highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
A successful applicant should fulfil the below qualities.
- Have creative design skills to create campaign material to reach customers using Canva as the main design tool.
- Excellent brand awareness with every aspect of the marketing process.
- You should have a strong social media knowledge to include Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Have a solid knowledge of website analytical tools, i.e., Google Analytics and Web Trends.
- Extensive understanding of Shopify and ecommerce, managing the online offer from a look and feel perspective.
- Managing and updating the company websites.
- Keeping up to date with current digital trends and researching new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums.
- Has some photography skills.
- Customer focus - focus on understanding, anticipation and exceeding customers’ needs and responding to all reviews and comments on digital platforms.
- Assisting with paid media including liaising with digital advertising agencies.
- Seeking out new opportunities for online marketing campaigns.
- Communicating key information relating to digital products to non-digital marketing colleagues.
- Strong creative eye and ability to sense which messages will resonate with customers.
- Strong planning and organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple multi-channel campaigns.
- Writing blog articles for website and social media channels.
- Ability to work towards and manage own deadlines and workloads.
- Great attention to detail, with a proven ability to both follow and create processes.
- Creatively minded and must have impeccable spelling/grammar in order to create engaging and precise content
- Make sure any promotions or events are consistent and on brand and that they showcase our seasons.
- Assist in design and implement new packaging across the business.
- Have a good eye for displays and promotions within the multi site farm shops.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of basic SEO principles and optimising content for search
- Experience of working within and developing brand guidelines
- Experience working with photographers and outside partners
This position is an on-site role with potential ‘working at home’ hours when suitable. Salary based on 40 hours per week. Various days throughout the week will be necessary as and when the business requires.
