Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Business Partner to join our team based in Liverpool. You will work within the Business Planning & Analysis department, be a part of the Group Commercial function and to help AHK in its efforts to maintain profitable business growth.

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:
**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE**

**Responsibilities**
- Supporting investment decisions for specific client tender bids and expansion projects (new markets, new countries, new services, new initiatives and acquisitions/collaborations/partnerships).
- Facilitate sales information in the business by preparing, analysing and reporting sales information of all types that informs, influences and supports key decision making and strategic planning.
- You will partner with decision makers to provide the story behind the numbers and communicate resulting insight to various stakeholders upwards to the executive level.
- Support the continuous development and enhancement of sales reporting.
- You will facilitate the compilation of corporate, divisional and regional business unit level plans.
- Annual pricing initiatives.
- Ad hoc project work and analysis as directed.
- Flexibility and willingness to support other colleagues with cover and ad-hoc tasks.
- Support with all business planning & analysis initiatives as necessary.

**Required Competencies**
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, with an ability to evaluate business problems & recommend solutions.
- High level of skill in Google Apps/Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal, organisation and presentation skills.
- Hands on team player with the ability to work independently and on own initiative.
- Strong desire to succeed and a hunger to progress within the role.
- Highly collaborative, self-motivated and driven to succeed and make a difference.
- Customer first attitude with the confidence to engage with people and tackle problems as and when they arise.
- International perspective and cultural sensitivity.
- Very methodical with an excellent attention to detail.
- Commercially aware with good business acumen.

**Required Work Experience**
- Evidence of high performance background throughout education and career.
- Ideally having 5+ years of experience working within a Finance department.
- Corporate transaction experience although not required is desirable.

**Required Qualifications**
- Either newly qualified/part qualified ACCA/CIMA, or QBE.
- Strong English language verbal and written skills are essential. Command of a second language although not required is desirable.

**Travel/ Rotation Requirements**
- Travel to AHK sites around the world might be required on an ad-hoc basis
