TEC Partners are working with a fast growing Life Sciences company, based in Cambridge.They are providing single cell analysis systems and specialist consumables for the global pharmaceutical and academic research community. They are growing fast and theyhave recently received a big funding round. They are looking for a Senior Microfluidics Scientist/Engineer to join their team.

As a Senior Microfluidics Scientist/Engineer you will join their fast growing R&D team and have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting and cutting-edge projects.

**Senior Microfluidics Scientist/Engineer Responsibilities**:

- Contribute expert knowledge and skills in areas pertinent to microfluidic chip design and manufacturing.
- Develop new fabrication and assembly methods for microfluidic devices.
- Devise and organize validation and verification tests on microfluidic devices.
- Develop and implement improvements to microfluidic devices.
- Troubleshoot microfluidic device failure, organise and conduct FMEA, and present information to the wider team.
- Develop technical specifications for specific products.
- Liaising between multi-disciplinary teams

**Senior Microfluidics Scientist/EngineerRequirements**:

- PhD in life sciences or engineering
- Experience with 3D CAD for photomask design and mould design.
- Experience with MEMS devices or microfluidics.
- Interest or experience in droplet microfluidics, microfluidic devices, automation and high-throughput screening are desirable.
- Problem solving skills and ability to work within a team and individually.
