**Glass Manufacturing Processor (Cutter)**

Pearsons Glass is hiring a Glass Manufacturing Processor to join their team. As a Glass Manufacturing Processor (Cutter) some of your responsibilities will include operating cutting machines for a glass processing business, checking cut glass, straight cutting and cutting shapes from 2mm to 15mm.

They are a family business based in Liverpool and have been in business since 1901 and are well respected within the industry. This role has come up due to a retirement.

Ideal Requirements:

- Previous experience in a glass processing business, minimum 5 years
- Must have experience of cutting shaped and straight glass between 4mm and 10mm
- Must have a good level of physical fitness due to some heavy lifting being required
- Knowledge of using a crane to move glass within a factory environment
- Basic IT knowledge in order to prepare machines for cutting (training will be provided)
- Be a team player
- Have good communication skills

Location: On site at Pearsons Glass, L3 7EH

**Job Type**: Permanent, Full-time, Hourly paid with overtime available on occasion

Shifts: Yes - shift requirement for this role is rolling two week period as below:Week 1 - 0600 - 1400 Mon - Thurs, 0600 - 1300 FriWeek 2 - 1400 - 2230 Mon - Thurs, 1300- 1800 Fri

Initial training period will be on days, 0700-1500 Mon-Thu and 0700-1400 Fri for approximately 4 weeks.

You need to be able to get to and from the site for these times. They are midway between two train stations; however public transport may not run at the times required. Please check you can get to them for the above shifts prior to applying.
