**Who you are?**

As a Telecoms Lead you will be responsible for managing our critical telecommunications infrastructure services and supplier relationships. Responsible for user support and effectively managing mobiles >19,000, fixed line >200 and VoIP services to the Group. Pro-actively identify cost saving opportunities and ensure that the telephony infrastructure and services meets the business needs.

As well as this, you will be required to scrutinise invoices and supporting data provided by our mobile and telecom providers.

You will be overseeing the production of monthly reports including high spender and zero usage reports to ensure the estate is accurate.

Also to manage the Group Telecoms ticketing queue ensuring operational level service agreements are met whilst ensuring a high standard customer focused service is delivered to the business.

**As the Telecoms Lead, you’ll get the opportunity to**:

- Internal liaison / communication with the businesses.
- Identify misuse, policy infringements and report on lost cost. Assess, evaluate and communicate infringements to key stakeholders and manage resolution.
- Take responsibility for internal customer complaints process and be seen as an escalation point.
- Ensure that an effective and tested Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plan exists to support the business telephony estate where applicable.
- Ensure the control and ongoing accuracy of telephony hardware and software license assets are maintained.
- Undertake customer satisfaction surveys of key suppliers and use the data to implement service improvements as appropriate.
- Perform any necessary audits of the service providers to ensure that they are adhering to the policies and procedures as agreed with M Group Services.
- Liaise with Directors and Senior Managers to identify the key business requirements to be supported by Group Telecoms.
- Assess and recommend appropriate telephony solutions to M Group Services.
- Checking supplier invoices and backing data to check for errors and challenging where necessary
- Identifying saving opportunities and producing business cases to interested stakeholders
- Production of reports to provide insights that allow the business to ensure that they are getting value for money out of the telephony services consumed

**What you’ll bring?**
- Previous experience of working in a Telecoms role dealing with suppliers and internal customers.
- Commercially aware, with proven organisational and time management skills, with the ability to collaborate and work together with people on all levels of the business
- Attention to detail and due diligence in spotting when a supplier is overcharging
- Experience of SLA management and KPI measurement
- Experience in contract negotiations, supplier/ relationship management, and dispute resolution in a commercial environment
- Understanding of IS management issues and drivers of IT strategy
- Excellent IT skills - advanced MS Excel
- Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and priorities, and to redirect the team toward new objectives
