We are actively looking for a C1 Driver to join our team

**Key Responsibilities**
- Carry out daily walkaround maintenance checks on the delivery van.
- Loading, driving, and unloading the delivery the delivery van.
- Makes deliveries and collections to/from sites in a timely manner.
- Making sure loads are safely secured.
- Drive within driver working hours/tachograph rules and avoid any PCNs (Penalty Charge Notices).
- Assist at the warehouse when extra help is needed.
- Planning delivery schedules and routes with the transport manager

**Person Specification**

**Qualification**

**Essential**:

- GCSE at grade C or above in Moths and English
- Valid UK C1 Driving Licence
- Current CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph card

**Desirable**
- Reach Truck / Fork Lift Licence is desirable

**Experience and Knowledge**
**Essential**:

- 2 years’ experience of driving C1 lorries on multidrop runs
- Good understanding of both written and spoken English
- Good knowledge of London roads & restrictions

**Desirable**:

- Evidence of Manual Handling training

**Abilities & Skills**
**Essential**:

- Well organised and able to multitask
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexible and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail and must be very ‘hands on’ with a ‘can do’ attitude
