Winston Solicitors was established in 2002. We have a 5-year growth strategy, and we are looking for a **proactive** and **creative social media specialist** to enable the firm’s strategy.

Your role will be to increase **brand recognition** through **social media marketin**g.

You will **create content **and assist with **managing the firm’s social media platforms**. This includes being proactive to news stories and events plus seeking opportunities for social media engagement and account growth.

Your knowledge will be beneficial to the team who currently plan, create, and run the paid social media advertising.

This is an exciting opportunity for a **social media specialist** to be pivotal in growing the firm’s social media presence and to be part of the team to help promote the brand to new online audiences and progress the firm in its next phase.

**What will you do?**
- Understand the brand messaging and house-style.
- Create digital content that is varied, interesting and engaging.
- Produce multimedia including reels for use across the social channels.
- Be conscious of the current audience, and target audience, to ensure the content is relevant and focused.
- Plan for time critical posts including news items, legal changes, and social events.
- Respond appropriately to public comments and private messages.
- Seek opportunities to grow the social media accounts with quality and relevant followers.
- Post blogs and website content with appropriate messaging.
- Assist with uploading website content.
- Involvement in paid social media advertising including planning, writing, graphic and video content.

**Your primary expertise**
- A good knowledge of the social media platforms that we operate: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google Business and YouTube.
- Experience in creating new content including written and multimedia.
- Engaging in social listening and responding appropriately to comments, messages received.
- Researching and being aware of digital trends and feeding back to the manager to ensure social media relevance.
- Knowledge of website management.

**Job requirements**
- Minimum 2+ years in a similar role.
- Creative skills to produce multimedia content.
- Good copywriting skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Organisational skills to plan and time manage social media schedules.
- Experience using creative tools appropriate for multimedia content creation,

eg Adobe products, Canva etc.
- Experience in uploading website content.
- Ability to work autonomously, establish priorities and manage own workload.
- Willingness to work with and support the manager, undertaking a variety of tasks associated with the department.
- Develop opportunities as they arise including learning new software and skills, as necessary, to deliver the most suitable social media content.
- It would be advantageous to have knowledge in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.

**Other information**

This is a part-time position: 20 hrs per week split over 4 or 5 days.

You must be able to travel to work at our office in Roundhay, North Leeds.

There is scope for the role to be hybrid, with a minimum of 10 hours / 2 days in the office.

**Salary**: £10.92-£12.41 per hour
