**Job Description**:
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated Supplier Manager, with IT experience, to be responsible for supporting our key supplier relationships across Product, Data and Technology vendor landscape for Wood Mackenzie.

Your role will take an active role in driving value from the supply chain through active management and co-ordination of vendor relationship, governance, performance, risk management activities. You must possess strong understanding of contractual, commercial and operational working relationships with vendors to ensure effective delivery of committed products, services and solutions.

You’ll be responsible for developing successful collaborative relationships with key partners and suppliers to enable delivery of significant tangible business benefits for both parties.

**Qualifications**:

- Support the Senior Partnerships Manager in delivering the mission and vision of Vendor Management capability in alignment with the Product, Technology, Data and Operations goals and objectives.
- Establishing formal governance structures for key supplier engagements and interactions, aligned to Vendor Management Framework.
- Developing appropriate relationships with our strategic suppliers and partners.
- Implementing processes to effectively manage and monitor supplier performance.
- Identifying and managing supplier risks.
- Driving and promoting supplier improvements, efficiencies, and capabilities.
- Provide commercial expertise and develop the commercial acumen within the team to influence and provide commercial awareness to the decision-making process.
- Manage vendor relationships as the key point of contact between specified vendors and the business, manage governance meetings.
- Drive value from supplier relationships, undertaking account planning and joint objective setting, identifying, and driving win-win outcomes for both parties.
- Oversee the measurement and reporting of vendor performance, including the development of evaluation tools based on stakeholder needs, and the creation of scorecards and dashboards that will accurately present this data.
- Collaborate with our business, partners, and peers to recognise the value of Vendor Management by actively engaging across Business Units to deliver Vendor Management services.

Essential skills/knowledge:

- Results focused professional with the ability to lead and own, with little day-to-day supervision.
- Proven experience in successfully managing vendors and third parties in a strategic way, and align to business outcomes: including, but not limited to, relationship management, performance, vendor risk, relationships, negotiating, audits and issue and dispute resolution.
- Working knowledge of contract management adherence and negotiation.
- Understanding of the vendor life cycle (sourcing, procurement, vendor and relationship management), and how internal roles interact and operate throughout the duration of vendor engagements.
- Excellent organisational skills and driven to deliver results.
- Numerate and highly skilled in information management.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence decisions
- Excellent people skills and the ability to listen understand and negotiate with internal customers and key suppliers.
- Excellent communication skills, able to exchange and summarise complex information. Able to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders.

Knowledge and Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Relevant professional qualification or accreditation (eg. IACCM/CIPS) or qualified by experience
- Experience of Software Development / Agile methodologies and practices
- Experience in Performance Based / Outcome based contracting.
