**Overview**:
Our client is an established SME with a global customer base and supply chain, gearing up for a new growth phase. They’re based in Sheffield specializing in supplying engine parts and components, and are seeking an energetic and ambitious individual to join as the Head of Operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of growth and performance.
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing to drive sustainable growth and maintain profit margins.
- Improve supply chain efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness through process enhancements and automation.
- Analyze and optimize operational processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to align operational activities with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and encourage learning and development within the team.
- Provide strong leadership, motivate team members, and maintain a positive work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years experience in a management role
- Proven expertise in suggesting and implementing business improvements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT skills
- Finance and accounting: working knowledge of budgeting cash forecasting and balance sheet

**Working Hours**:

- 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility within core hours, e.g. 8-4, 9-5
