By joining our client's team as a Property Support Administrator you'll get the opportunity to play a key role in our ambitious growth plans and help us develop our new approach to property management.
The Role
Our client are currently recruiting for a new team member to support our property managers who are responsible for a diverse portfolio of properties.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that back-office administration support for developments is running smoothly, including instructing contractors and pre-approved relevant health & safety checks and assessments, ensuring appropriatecontracts are in place.
The position could suit someone from a property related or strong customer service background who is keen to learn and develop in the role.
The Role Will Involve The Following Key Support Duties
Scope of role
To support a team of Property managers who have an allocated portfolio of buildings, providing efficient and accurate administrative and day to day property management.
Key Responsibilities
To carry out various property management tasks as required or directed.
To assist in implementing Company policies and procedures to an agreed standard
To participate in Company-wide initiatives both internally and for external clients.
Ensure that Company policies and procedures are consistently applied to required standards.
Property Portfolio Support role
Oversee day to day administration support related to the management of properties. i.e. raising common repairs, owner sales, new owner packs, following up on estimates, liaising with contractors as instructed by Property manager.
Administration support the project management of major internal and external works.
Deal with as directed queries verbally and in written form.
Assist with the issuing and collection of relevant fees and Common Charges.
Manage information relevant to the role effectively relevant budget process, year-end accounts and agreed client statement
process to ensure that timescales are met and review accounting information to ensure accuracy.
Assist and support as directed to insurance claims are being processed efficiently and correctly (in conjunction with the appropriate member of staff or independent insurance broker).
Assist Property managers to ensure that all circular & client correspondence including newsletters ensuring that communication is regular and accurate.
Hours and Environment
9am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. However, you may be required at times to work additional hours.
