**Supported Housing Worker - Young People**

Stepping Stone Projects is an established and growing charity providing quality homes and services to help prevent homelessness and transform lives across the North West.

Our support services are aimed at helping our customers develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to maintain a stable home and a structured lifestyle before assisting them in the process of securing or retaining permanent independent accommodation.

Due to recent growth, we have an exciting opportunity available for a **Supported Housing Worker **to work across East Lancashire supporting customers in a number of dispersed properties providing support and accommodation to Care Leavers or young people at risk of homelessness.

We would love to hear from you if:

- You are able to overcome obstacles and deliver results through tenacity, persistence and resilience
- You have experience working in supported housing, housing advice work, youth and community work or work supporting homeless people
- You have the ability to work with customers who have complex needs and who may be challenging to work with, and to respond to conflict situations in a calm yet firm manner
- You are able to maintain accurate records
- You have a basic knowledge of housing management tasks, i.e. rent collection, tenancy agreements and arrears management
- Have a satisfactory enhanced DBS check
- Have a current full driving licence and access to a vehicle

You will be working between the hours of 9-5 with some flexibility to meet the needs of our customers.
