**Occupational Hygienist, SOCOTEC, Competitive**, East Kilbride**

To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our Occupational Hygiene team based at our East Kilbride office. SOCOTEC is the leading provider of Environment and Safety service across UK. With 1.3 million workers in the UK suffering from work-related health issues, SOCOTECs teams undertake a range of services to assist clients in monitoring, assessing and controlling human exposure to chemical, physical and biological hazards in the Workplace. Our highly qualified specialists provide a market-leading service offering the assurance of compliance with legislation and regulations, including COSHH Regulations, Control of Noise at Work Regulations and Control of Vibration at Work Regulations.

Were looking for a Qualified or Part Qualified Occupational Hygienist to join an enthusiastic team delivering Occupational Hygiene Consultancy services to a wide range of clients across Scotland, Ireland and northern England. Focusing mainly on:

- Conducting occupational exposure assessments including noise, vibration and airborne hazards
- COSHH assessments
- Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) Examinations
- Produce technical reports detailing site observations, laboratory results and providing accurate and appropriate recommendations
- Ensure all quality and accreditation standards are achieved

- Scientific degree
- Relevant W501 and W503 modules as a minimum
- Full driving license
- Proficient IT skills
- P601, W505 and W507 modules desirable
- Ability to use own initiative and good time management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
