Occupational Hygienist, SOCOTEC, Competitive, East Kilbride

To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our Occupational Hygiene team based at our East Kilbride office. SOCOTEC is the leading provider of Environment and Safety service across UK. With 1.3 million workers in the UK suffering from work-related health issues, SOCOTEC's teams undertake a range of services to assist clients in monitoring, assessing and controlling human exposure to chemical, physical and biological hazards in the Workplace. Our highly qualified specialists provide a market-leading service offering the assurance of compliance with legislation and regulations, including COSHH Regulations, Control of Noise at Work Regulations and Control of Vibration at Work Regulations.

We're looking for a Qualified or Part Qualified Occupational Hygienist to join an enthusiastic team delivering Occupational Hygiene Consultancy services to a wide range of clients across Scotland, Ireland and northern England. Focusing mainly on:

Conducting occupational exposure assessments including noise, vibration and airborne hazardsCOSHH assessmentsLocal Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) ExaminationsProduce technical reports detailing site observations, laboratory results and providing accurate and appropriate recommendationsEnsure all quality and accreditation standards are achieved

Scientific degree Relevant W501 and W503 modules as a minimumFull driving licenseProficient IT skillsP601, W505 and W507 modules desirableAbility to use own initiative and good time management skillsExcellent communication and relationship building skills
