Reporting to the Head of IOD SPA-Mining, the Project Coordinator ensures that all project and administrative tasks and topics related to project management and execution are processed in a timely, compliant, and effective manner.

The role forms an integral link between the project execution team and internal and external customers and ensures alignment of the project teams throughout the end to end process of a project.

The role requires strong project acumen and close liaison with the project teams as well as internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with Business requirements and the success of the project. In liaising and coordinating with these functions the Project Coordinator maintains suitable processes and procedures to support the positive outcome of the project.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with group functions and contribute to the projects that each area is performing towards the overall goal of the project execution
- Be an effective team player, proactively contribute to the team, work with the project managers and the customers and other team members to ensure a smooth workflow within the project
- Communicate and inform all relevant team members through frequent meetings and correspondence about key milestones and other matters and concerns on all contracts
- Collaboration with global project support teams
- Set up of invoicing plan according to contract
- Governance of project document control and administration
- Act as assistant to the Project-Manager where applicable according to PM procedures
- Provide input into project reporting regarding progress, cost, and claims

What you bring- Understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact of poor quality- Ability to make and maintain good relationships- Pro-active and takes initiative- Team player, able to balance multiple team memberships- Computer literate - Advanced Excel and Word an advantage- Excellent written communication skills- High level of drive and commitment- Meticulous attention to detail
