Applications are invited for an exciting new role as Project Curator at the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture in Berriew, Wales. Funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF), the ‘Heritage of Andrew Logan’ project aims to expand the understanding of Andrew Logan’s work for new and existing audiences by placing it in the context of social, political, and cultural change from the 1960s to the present day. Phase 1 of the project will involve cataloguing of existing artworks, development of Accreditation standard collections management procedures and background research into the context of Andrew Logan’s work.

**The role**:
The role is full-time for 2 years, with the possibility for a 1-year extension should further funding be available. Hybrid working is a possibility.

The role will report to the ALMoS Trustees Working Group and will line-manage a Project Coordinator.

**Key Responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for delivery of ‘The Heritage of Andrew Logan’ project, including cataloguing and digitising of artwork, collections care and conservation activities, and line-management of the Project Coordinator, supporting them in front-of-house and volunteer supervision. You will conduct detailed research into the social and cultural history of the late 20th century to place Andrew Logan’s artworks in their wider context, including interviews with Andrew and his contemporaries.

**About you**:
You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with an established track record in the care and cataloguing of museum or art collections. You will have experience in museum collections management and an excellent working understanding of UK Museum Accreditation Standards. Well-developed research skills, team-working and communication will be essential. Knowledge of late 20th century art, social and cultural history will be advantageous, particularly in relation to the LGBTQ+ communities. You will be passionate about equality, diversity, and inclusion.
