Operations Support Assistant

The Operations Assistant will work with the Groups & Operations Support Manager and wider Operations team, by securing and managing bookings with key suppliers across the UK (such as accommodation, transport and attractions)
KEY ACTIVITIES PERFORMED
- Booking and managing accommodation, attractions, trains and ferries for extended tour and festival products.
- Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations.
- Managing supplier allocations to suit business demand.
- Develop, and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers/trade.
- Supplier reporting.
- Assist in the day to day running of the Operations Department.
- Customer satisfaction reporting.
- Creating tour manifests.
- Booking system management
EDUCATION
- Wide-ranging IT skills with proficiency in MS Office & MS Excel.

- Excellent attention to detail with highly developed literacy and numeracy skills.

- Experience in creating and reading spreadsheets.

- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
USEFUL ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Experience in / or an understanding of the Tourism Industry would be desirable but not essential.
