The Play Den is a family run children’s play and party venue catering for young children.

Soft Play Assistant
- We are seeking an enthusiastic reliable and hardworking individual to join the team. You must be enthusiastic about working with children and their parents and carers.

Duties include:

- Creating a fun and welcoming environment for all customers
- Greeting and signing in customers
- Using the till to take payment
- Taking orders, preparing food and serving drinks, cakes, snacks and hot food
- Ensuring high standards of health and safety and cleanliness are achieved at all time
- Hosting birthday parties
- Help to maintain very high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the centre
- Clear tables and wash dishes
- Follow food hygiene practices - storing & dating food items, cleaning kitchen area and equipment to a high standard, keeping good personal hygiene
- Efficient and quick when carrying out tasks
- Fun & friendly, able to work on their own, with others and able to maintain a positive attitude at all times
- Able to multi task
- Hardworking, motivated and willing to pull their weight
- Have or be willing to get a food hygiene level 2 certificate (this will be provided)

Hours
- Part time - permanent. Monday to Sunday and must have availability for weekend and school holiday work.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £4.81-£10.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
