Salary Grade 7: £39,607 to £43,029 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £46,771 per annum inclusive of London Weighting.

The Widening Participation Team is the University’s efforts to widen access and participation in higher education among a diverse range of under-represented groups. The post holder will join a dynamic team of professionals and deliver key elements of Brunel University London’s outreach and widening access strategy, as set out in our Access and Participation Plan. This work supports the attainment and progression to HE for hundreds of young people each year.

This is a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic team committed to widening participation through delivering a unique, sustained ‘_Urban Scholars’_ intervention programme. The post holder will work with the Urban Scholars Director and Urban Scholars Administrator to design, implement and deliver a programme of activities. The post holder will deliver a range of activities to secondary and sixth form-age students, as well as activities for teachers and parents, and local communities both on and off campus. The start date is August 2023, or earliest possible thereafter until 31 July 2024 including two Saturdays per month. This role includes significant amounts of weekend and evening work throughout the year.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
