Freelance Clerk of Works required to support local housing association - refit & upgrades projects over a period of 12 months.
Your new company
Your new company is a prestigious public sector organisation based just outside of Aberdeen who play a critical role in supporting their local communities. With exciting plans to build, upgrade and refit various housing projects across their estate. They areseeking to appoint a suitably qualified Clerk of Works with experience in housing, to head up several projects across a 12 month period.
Your new role
Working across the organisation your role will be to plan, oversee and execute a multitude of medium to large projects such as bathroom and kitchen renovations/upgrades. With specific focus on design and fitout. As a Clerk of Works a key part of the role willbe to plan, coordinate and deliver multiple projects across the organisation on budget and and on time. Working as part of their estates and construction team with an opportunity for flexible working, this role requires high level of communication and a deepunderstanding of modern H&S and construction management. This role involves a fair amount of report writing and computer based processing, as well as being a familiar face on site.
