The Best Connection (Newcastle) are looking to recruit a number of **Drivers Mates **to assist Drivers with furniture deliveries throughout the North East. Our client is a national leader in the furniture industry and looking for support.

**From their site on Team Valley, Gateshead you will**:

- Complete deliveries of furniture to customers homes - will include beds, tables, sofas, chairs, tables, etc
- Load and unload various furniture on and off the delivery vehicle
- Work as part of a two person delivery team with your designated Driver
- Complete delivery paperwork (as and when required)
- Provide excellent customer service to the end customer
- Remove any unwanted packaging, cardboard etc (where necessary)
- Excellent customer service skills are essential as you will be dealing directly with the customer
- Have good communication skills
- Be flexible to work weekends when required

**Hours + Pay**:

- 5 shifts over 7 days, so shifts could include weekends as well as weekdays
- 7am till 4pm
- 40hrs per week
- £12.14 per hour (PAYE)
- Finish times may vary due to road/traffic conditions
