The Best Connection Newcastle are seeking to recruit ad hoc **Driver's Mates** to work for their client on the Team Valley, Gateshead. The client is a distributor of white goods to the commercial and private sector. The goods delivered can include washing machines, dishwashers, fridges and freezers.

**The role**:

- Loading and unloading products from the vehicle
- Delivering products to the customer and helping with installation where required
- Assisting the Driver with directions
- Ringing customers to advise of ETA
- This role will involve heavy manual lifting
- Previous Drivers Mate experience would be advantageous
- Must be physically fit and comfortable with heavy repetitive lifting
- Flexible to work weekends as well as weekdays
- Able to get to the Team Valley for 6am in the morning

**Shift pattern**:

- Ad hoc shifts - the shifts will vary week to week
- 6am start time

**Pay Rates**:

- £10.42 per hour flat rate
